Hollanda menÅ�eli yenilikçi elektrikli ürünler üreticisi olan Mastervolt, yeni üç ayrÄ± model 6-Volt AGM aküsünü piyasaya sundu. Her biri yüksek kapasite olan modeller, tamamen kiÅ�iye özel akü banklarÄ± yapÄ±lmasÄ± için dizayn edildi. Bu sayede kÄ±sÄ±tlÄ± yeri olan bölgelerde, 12, 24 veya 48 voltluk akü banklarÄ± kurulabiliyor.

Yeni aküler tamamÄ± ile bakÄ±m gerektirmiyor ve isteÄ�e göre yatay veya dikey monte edilebiliyor. Bu aküler ayrÄ±ca çok güvenli, Å�arj esnasÄ±nda ortaya çÄ±kan tüm gaz, tekrar akünün içinde absorbe ediliyor. Akü kutularÄ± tamamen izole ve etrafÄ± havalandÄ±rÄ±ldÄ±Ä�Ä± için, ayrÄ±ca ek bir havalandÄ±rma sistemine ihtiyaç duyulmuyor. Bir hata neticesinde eÄ�er aküler belirgin bir Å�ekilde aÅ�Ä±rÄ± Å�arj edilirse, bir güvenlik valfi tüm basÄ±ncÄ± dÄ±Å�arÄ± atmaktadÄ±r.

Mastervolt hali hazÄ±rda geniÅ� bir VRLA (Valf regüleli KurÅ�un Asit) marin tip akü portföyüne sahip, fakat bu yeni seri 2 volt ile 12 volt arasÄ±ndaki boÅ�luÄ�u dolduruyor. Bu seri ile özel akü banklarÄ± yapÄ±labilme Å�ansÄ±nÄ± oldukça arttÄ±rÄ±yor, özellikle tüm 6 volt aküler çoklu baÄ�lantÄ±ya imkan tanÄ±masÄ± amacÄ± ile çift akü terminali ile gelmektedir.

Tipik bir montaj Å�ekli 24 voltluk, 400 Amper saatlik bir akü bankÄ± yerleÅ�tirmektir. Normal Å�artlarda, iki çift 12 voltluk akünün komplike bir kros baÄ�lantÄ± ile baÄ�lanmasÄ±, ciddi bir yer ihtiyacÄ±nÄ±n saÄ�lanmasÄ± gerekiyordu. Å�imdi ise dört adet 6 volt akünün seri baÄ�lanmasÄ± ile bu sistem kolayca temin edilebiliyor.

Bu yeni aküler orta düzeyde kullanÄ±m yapÄ±lan uygulamalar için ideal, ve güverte altÄ±na bile monte edilebilecek kadar ince ve az yer kaplÄ±yorlar. Å�arj durumunu uzun süreli kÄ±Å� aylarÄ±nda bile koruyabiliyorlar.

"The new 6-volt AGM batteries allow a much simpler build-up of a battery bank. Obvious beneficiaries are the latest 48-volt e-propulsion systems, which can take advantage of this increased flexibility."

The new 6-volt range brings the total of Mastervolt battery choices to 31, and the Company is dedicated to a green policy on production and recycling. No cadmium or mercury is used, and a recycling service is offered to Mastervolt customers, which is entirely free, apart from carriage to the factory.

"Our concerns to minimise harmful elements in our batteries, whilst also increasing their service life, led us to pioneer the highly advanced Lithium Ion marine battery," Persoon added.

The 6-volt battery is available in three capacities; 260Ah, 340Ah and 400Ah.

Mastervolttan yeni PODMaster

MASTERVOLTTAN YENÄ° – YÜKSEK VERÄ°MLÄ° HARÄ°CÄ° BÄ°R ELEKTRÄ°K SÜRÜCÜ VE REJENERASYON.

Mastervolt, the Dutch-based manufacturer of premium electrical systems, is pleased to announce it is increasing the model range of the new PODMaster propulsion and regeneration systems to meet the growing demand.

The PODMaster was released after Mastervolt acquired the leading Dutch electric propulsion specialist Bellmann in November 2009, and began to marry its complete power

management expertise to Bellmann’s cutting-edge electrical drives.

The PODMaster is essentially a scaled down version of the systems used so successfully on large cruise ships, where a powerful electric motor is encased in a torpedo-shaped pod attached to the underside of the hull. The pods can be steered to provide highly efficient directional thrust, making even the largest vessels highly manoeuvrable. Another big advantage is that with no conventional drive shafts, gearboxes or engine couplings to align, the electrical power source can be located virtually anywhere on board.

The PODMaster is now available in a power range from 2kW to 10kW, which can effectively replace a combustion engine from 3hp to 36hp. Because Mastervolt specialises in every aspect of a boat’s power management system, with every component totally compatible and ‘hybrid ready’, the possibilities for a self-contained drive system are almost endless.

The larger PODMaster units also double as regenerators, so when a yacht is under sail, the torque in the free-wheeling propeller is harnessed to recharge the batteries. When supplemented by solar panels and/or a wind generator, and with the recharging efficiency optimised by the MasterBus system, a PODMaster-equipped boat could be virtually self-refuelling.

However, for yachts where maximum speed under sail is essential, a folding propeller version is available. This can be coupled to the SailMaster series, where the electric motor is housed inside the hull, with just a slim saildrive leg protruding into the water.

Motorboats can fit single or twin PODMasters, either fixed before a rudder, or fully directional. The steerable versions can be linked to the main wheel, or steered independently. When angled at 90 degrees, for example, the PODMaster effectively doubles as a stern thruster. It can also be fitted as an auxiliary drive or trolling motor for a single-engine powerboat.

For naval architects, the PODMaster provides the opportunity to design a boat around the requirements of the accommodation, without the need to house a large inboard engine. Cooled by the surrounding water, the PODMaster is completely maintenance-free apart from the usual anode change.

Mastervolt’s acquisition of Bellmann has led to a highly productive merging of expertise, and has allowed us to really push the envelope of highly efficient, easily installed electrical propulsion. We’re also actively developing even more powerful units for the future, all designed around Mastervolt’s extensive range of CAN-bus controlled power management systems."

Prices for the PODMaster range from £4,000 - £10,000 ex VAT, depending on specification and power rating. The package includes the monitoring panel and associated wiring, and the ‘plug and play’ cables between the battery, the control unit and the motor. Only the joystick controller is excluded from the package price due to the wide range of options. The rest of the system can be built from Mastervolt’s range of Lithium-ion or Gel batteries, intelligent battery chargers and Whisper generators, all interconnected with the single cable Masterbus communication network.

Mastervolt Frizyan güneş enerjisi turnuvasına sponsorluk yapıyor.

MASTERVOLT SPONSORS THE FRISIAN SOLAR CHALLENGE

Mastervolt, the Dutch-based manufacturer of high-quality electrical power products, has been named as the main sponsor for the Frisian Solar Challenge 2010, which begins on Sunday 4th July.

The Frisian Solar Challenge is run every two years and is now the largest sustainable energy event in the Netherlands, attracting a field of young competitors/students from all over the world to race in boats powered exclusively by solar energy, many of which use inverters and electrical propulsion units developed by Mastervolt.

Beginning with a trial run on Sunday 4th July along the canals of Leeuwarden, where the Challenge will also finish, the competitors will race over the route of the famous Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour) ice skating race through the province of Friesland. The 220km race, which visits each of the 11 cities, will take competitors six days.

Participants are divided into three classes: the Top Class and two Challenge Classes for single-handed and double-handed boats.

5th July: Leeuwarden – Sloten

6th July: Sloten – Bolsward

7th July: Rest day

8th July: Bolsward – Franeker

9th July: Franeker – Dokkum

10th July: Dokkum – Leeuwarden
